A brief curriculum: Paola Zucchello a professional
photographer since 1991.
Her photographs have been published in magazines and newspapers. She
has presented many exhibitions: Images, Geometry, Generations face to
face, Air of Paris, Portraits of Artists, Women Theater, etc.
She has published two photographic books by Studioset: "Travelling
for Images" and "Rainbow over the sea". Collective exhibitions
recents: The artist's necktie in the four winds, Women Photographers'
net, International Tea Time.
Women In Photography International presets: "International
Tea Time: Images of Women, Images of Tea".
The theme for the juried exhibition was inspired by a wonderful image
of a teapot by the late photographer
Linda McCartney, which is included with the 75 stunning images from
63 women artist from around the world.
The exhibition will travel throughout the USA and international for
several years.

Fotografie dal Golfo dei Poeti alle Cinque Terre
L'esposizione della fotografa Paola Zucchello, che presenta a Genova nel salone della Seicentesca Villa Bickley, consistono in una serie di fotografie sul territorio del Levante Ligure, dove la fotografa vive e opera professionalmente. Ogni immagine della mostra è realizzata in bianco e nero, come nella migliore tradizione fotografica e ripropongono una linea paesaggistica di atmosfera cercata sul luogo per sorprendere la natura nei suoi cicli stagionali, soprattutto nelle giornate in cui le grandi nuvole rendono cupo il cielo e lungo la costa le bianche onde marine tormentano con fragore la scogliera. Nella quiete serale si è appassionata alle suggestioni crepuscolari del controluce, caro agli spiriti romantici di ogni tempo. C'è molta meditazione in queste suggestive fotografie, dove la rappresentazione della realtà è riportata con sentimento poetico, lontano dal frastuono urbano e dalle località balneari alla moda.

Photographs from the Golfo dei Poeti to the Cinque Terre.
The photo-exhibition arranged by the photographer Paola Zucchello in the showroom of Sixteenth Century Villa Bickley, in Genoa, consists of a series of photographs of the Levante Ligure area (the eastern Ligurian area), where the photographer lives and work. According to the best photographic tradition, this exhibition features black-and-white photographs that depict the cyclic process of nature and captures the moody landscape of those days when big clouds darken the sky and the crests of the roaring sea break on reef rocks along the coast. The twilight atmosphere, dear to romantic souls of all times, has a strong influence on the photographer, who depicted the quietness of evening by using backlight photography. There's deep meditation in these evocative photographs that depict reality with poetic feeling, away from the hubbub of city life and the trendy seaside-resorts.
REGGIO PHOTO FEST
Dall' 8 al 22 Novembre 2008 si è inaugurata la prima edizione del "Reggio Photo Fest" organizzato dall'Associazione culturale Ateraster e dall'Assessorato ai Beni Culturali, con la direzione artistica dei fotoreporter Francesco Cufari ed Adriana Sapone. Numerose le mostre organizzate: dalla mostra "Terra" di Sebastiao Salgado, alle esposizioni dei fotografi dell'Associated Press americana. La mostra "Nel nome delle donne" raccoglie le fotografie di: Clara Calubini, Maristella Campolunghi, Lidia Costantini, Tania Cristofari, Novella De Luca, Carolyn Drake, Fulvia Farassino, Virginia Farneti, Simona Granati, Maila Iacovelli, Julia Komissaroff, Beatrice Larco, Wendy Marijniseen, Melania Messina, Silvia Morara, Alessia Paradisi, Monica Quesada Cordero, Michela Rufini, Cosina Scavolini, Alessandra Tarantino, Maia Teresa e Paola Zucchello. Il loro lavoro intimistico e determinato, testimonia la notizia "catturata" dall'occhio sensibile di una donna.
